Prevention Alliance of Tennessee (PAT) Three-Year Goals

Build and Strengthen PAT Infrastructure: Clearly outline and build out the organizational infrastructure, processes, relationships, and systems needed to ensure the long-term stability and growth of PAT.

Marketing and Communication of Expertise: Capture and consistently communicate PAT’s expertise in the area of substance use prevention to key stakeholders to support PAT’s mission of advocating for effective policies.

Empower Substance Use Prevention Coalitions: Serve as the trusted resource to build, connect, support and grow substance use prevention coalitions across Tennessee.

Diversify Funding Sources: Increase the total number of PAT funders and total amount of PAT funding further ensure its long-term viability and ability to build out the infrastructure needed to further PAT’s mission.

WHO WE ARE
The Prevention Alliance is a network of over 50 coalitions that fosters collaboration and leverages resources to enhance environmental strategies and targeted statewide services in the fields of substance use prevention and public health. PAT Coalitions implement data-driven and evidence-based programs across the state, helping build Tennessee’s capacity to create stronger, healthier communities, families and individuals.
WHAT WE DO
The Prevention Alliance of Tennessee (PAT) is a public health nonprofit working to create healthier a Tennessee by reducing the burden of substance use. Funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, we work with coalitions across the state to spread the message of prevention. Together, our alliance fosters collaboration and leverages resources to enhance environmental strategies and targeted statewide services in the fields of substance use prevention and public health.
